Who are we?
The Féile Clai Project is a partnership between The International Ceramics Festival Wales and Ceramics Ireland

How are we funded?
This project is part financed by the European Union’s Interreg IIIa fund, provided through the Welsh Assembly Government with match funding support from The Crafts Council of Ireland and the Aberystwyth Arts Centre.

What do we do?
Féile Clai will create a new partnership between Ireland a Wales to promote the Ceramic sector in both regions. The project will support new makers and small ceramic businesses to create a high standard of work and to promote this to the best possible advantage. Féile Clai events in both regions aim to provide a combination of support, guidance and practical hands on techniques designed to benefit new makers/businesses. Féile Clai will provide a bursary system for new makers, ceramic master-classes, two major ceramic exhibitions of new work, one major exhibition from established makers in Wales and Ireland and two Ceramic festivals in each respective region.
